What to expect
We will provide you with a medical history form to complete. Please be sure to bring any health fund cards that you may plan to use.
The dental exam includes charting and examination of the teeth to look at existing restorations or new decay, examination of your gums and soft tissues and bitewing radiographs’ (X-Rays) to check for cavities that are not visible or are under existing restorations.
Following your examination if you need any further treatment we will provide you with a treatment plan with details of costs and appointments necessary. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your treatment and our friendly staff will be happy to help.
Children's Dentistry
We are fully equipped to treat all children, if you have special needs please feel free to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them. Dr Sarah and the team are working closely with local schools and preschools to help provide oral heath education visits and information.
We provide dental services under the Child Dental Benefit Scheme. Please contact us and we can help you find out if your child is eligible for treatment under this government scheme.
We are preferred providers for the HCF health fund meaning if you are a member of HCF you may be entitled to a range of no gap treatments at Yamba Dental Centre

Dr Sarah is the new Principal Dentist at Yamba Dental Centre. Sarah previously worked in Grafton at the Duke street Dental Centre during 02 6646 2444 and prior to that worked in the UK for 12yrs
Sarah moved to Yamba early in 2015 and chose the town as the perfect place to settle her family and enjoy watching her young children grow up.
Sarah is widely experienced in all forms of dentistry and is delighted to welcome patients past, present and new to our centre.
Staff and Facilities
Dr Sarah is assisted by a team of professional, caring clinical assistants and friendly office staff.
The centre relocated to Coldstream Street in October 2016. The new centre is fully equipped with 4 brand new surgeries that provide a relaxing space for all our patients. We are excited about this new chapter for Yamba Dental Centre and are happy to welcome all patients to come and visit and enjoy the new surroundings.

All our surgeries are accessible by wheelchairs and walking aids. Please let us know if you need any special assistance. Parking is available on Coldstream street and there are disabled parking spaces available very close to entrance of the centre.
We are located on Coldstream Street between the bike shop and the Laundromat. We are also very closely located to the bus stop on Coldstream street.
